The Green Light
Education Assistance Program encourages children from low income families
to work hard in their studies and families to take pride in their
schools. Assistance is provided in the form of uniforms, shoes and school
supplies. Students must maintain a 75% average in order to stay in
the program and parents (or designate) must participate in school
improvement projects. Their involvement produces a sense of
ownership and pride as students achieve good marks and parents
transform the school.
